Integration Cafe in Klaksvik

April 30th Klaksvík municipality and the Integration Committee will arrange a community-building ‘Integration Cafe’ featuring music, children’s entertainment and free coffee with cake. The event will be held at Skúlatrøð in Klaksvík on April 30th from 2pm to 4pm.

The purpose of this event is to facilitate social interaction across ethnic and cultural borders, for native Faroe Islanders and immigrants to get to know each other and have a good time together.

The event is part of our overall social integration effort, and one of the main tasks of the Klaksvík International Committee is to organize events that promote that agenda.

The final program for the event will be announced on Monday, April 25th.

April 30th is also "tunnilsdagur", meaning that driving through Norðoyatunnilin (between Klaksvík and Leirvík) will be free of charge.
